- Jack and Jerry started auctioning
at the Platte County Sale Barn in Platte City in the 60's where
an auction was held every week. Since that time they have auctioned
grocery stores, saddle shops, dress shops, dolls, farms, decanters,
guns, precious moments, and livestock. Most auctions were held
"on site" with the cashiers working out of a car or
truck. A machinery consignment auction was started several years
ago and continues now. The machinery consignment auction is held
in March of each year.
